So the time has come and we can return to the building on a Sunday morning – rates are still dropping and we can take this next step towards whatever lies ahead.
So – Sunday 26th September at 10:15am is *REALLY* Back to Church Sunday – back in ways we would never have imagined a couple of years ago.
It’s been 18 months since our last Sunday morning service on March 15th 2020, so we’re going to take things slowly.
We’ll still encourage folks to be careful and distance where appropriate, we’ll be sharing communion using bread but not sharing the cup together, we’ll have coffee and tea afterwards but being very careful about how we handle cups for washing up!
We’re also going to offer ribbons of different colours for people to wear to show their preferred way of connecting with people.
Red ribbon is “I’m still wanting to Socially Distance. IF you come to talk to me please keep a distance and wear a mask”
Orange ribbon – “I still want to be careful. We can come closer and you don’t need to wear a mask but still not touching one another”
And in a few weeks we’ll introduce green ribbons to say “I’m ok with handshakes and hugs”
So come and join us as we all gather together to worship for the first time in 18 months!
See you on a Sunday morning!
